Fees

We have recently changed our pricing structure to a price per dance model, with a base fee that has an early, regular and late price change associated with it, along with a  per dance fee. The per dance fee is unaffected by registration date (it remains the same flat fee at all times) and the per dance fee also caps out at 20 dances. This means you may add more dance events beyond that cap and you will stop being charged for them. For example a Youth dancer registering during the early bird period would pay $35 base fee, then $7.50 per each dance they entered, until they reached the price cap. See the charts at the bottom of the page for details on the price structure.

Discounts are available for studios. Email us for more details

WDSF Registration

This year we are offering Adult Latin, Senior 2 Latin, Senior 2 Standard, Senior 3 Standard and Senior 4 Standard WDSF Open events.

These events have an additional cost of $80 per couple per event to offset the sanctioning fees associated with hosting these events. Because of this, these events do not count towards your number of dances. To register click the link above.

Amateur Age Groups

A  competitor's age is determined as of December 31 of the year of the competition. Certain  amateur events are open to all ages. For those events that are not, the  age groups are:

  • Teddy Bear (unofficial): 7 years and below
  • Pre-Teen I: 8-9 years old
  • Pre-Teen II: 10-11 years old
  • Junior I: 12-13 years old
  • Junior II: 14-15 years old
  • Youth: 16-18 years old
  • Under 21: 16-20 years old
  • Adult: 19 or older
  • Senior I: One partner 35 or older, the other 30 or older
  • Senior II: One partner 45 or older, the other 40 or older
